Since DC and Florida are both in the Eastern Standard Time time zone, they both share the same time.

You can find time zones globally here:

You can see your timezone and what time it currently is anywhere in the US using an online timezone tool like http://www.time-zones-map.com/

Just look down to Florida and see what time it is there. It's color coded so it's very easy to see whether two states share a timezone or not. In this map for example you can see DC and Florida are both green indicating they are both in the Eastern timezone.

Well I live in Florida and right now it's 12:16 PM. California is 3 hours behind us, so I don't know about DC. You might want to try www.ask.com and see what that says.

Wow, what an interesting question! I suppose that if the world was going to explode, every country would end at that same time of the explosion, but yes, technically speaking. Scientists who look into this kind of stuff probably have different times for each country. However, the end of the world has been predicted many, many times by many, many qualified scientists and hey, we're still here.
