To get help like this the first thing go do is to find out if your communiity has a phone number (usually 211) that you can call 24/7 to get referrals to community service agencies, You can go here http://www.211.org/ and see if your community has a 211 program. This web site will tell you the correct number to call in your community so you can be referred to an agency that can help you. (Not all cell phone work when you call a 3 digit phone number. If you have trouble, try using someone's home phone.)



You can also call your local United Way and ask them for a referral.



Finally, many communities have nonsectarian Catholic Charities or Lutheran Social Services or Jewish Family Services which can help you. Look in the phone book or ask for directions at the local Catholic or Lutheran church or the local synagogue.

If youre in NYC, go to the mayor's office and they have a program that will fly homeless back to where they are from.

There has to be somone on the other end, that will shelter you.



You also dont say if you are dead broke, or just low on cash.

Oh, my goodness. I pray for you. As someone else said, I can only give you advice. You shouldn't bring you kid with you there unless someone is trying to kill you or it's a dire situation. But, never leave him alone, as anywhere can be dangerous. Please, try to find a nice paying job, even at a Mcdonalds or something, to make money for some food and clothes to keep you warm. As soon as you have saved enough money for either a car or a hotel room for a while, please try to do so. I'm only a child of eleven, and I hope I helped. Bless you. And good luck.

i can only offer you some advice...if you know that you are gonna be homeless with a child then dont make the road trip..

stay where you are, find a job, a place to live and save up the money to make the trip safetly..

dont take a child on a trip like that unless you have a place to go..
