I have to give ordinal and cardinal directions for a project and I'm not quite sure what to put..

I mapquested the directions I need but what do I type out ordinal and cardinal-wise (or, how do I go about coming up with these types of directions)?

Thanks for any help!

The four cardinal directions are north, south, east, and west.

The four ordinal directions are northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest.

Cardinal directions in anatomy divide the body into equal halves in three planes. Sagittal Plane: divides the body into left and right halves; Frontal or Coronal Plane: divides the body into front and rear portions; Transverse Plane: divides the body into top (superior) and bottom (inferior) portions. Ordinal directions are "in between": for example, the nose is anteromedial to the ear.

The 4th term in the series is quaternary. I'm not sure that series has an equivalent term to cardinal or ordinal. In whatever context you would use primary, secondary.. (cause, reason, explanation, etc) if there is a 4th, use quaternary.
