Help with vacation spot within driving distance of Indianapolis?

Vacation spot within 5 hours driving of Indianapolis? My husband and I would like to take a last vacation by ourselves before our 1st baby arrives. We'll be going in October and b/c we're going so late in my pregnancy, it'll have to be within driving distance of home. Thanks in advance!

Have you thought about the French Lick resort in Southern Indiana. It's supposed to be really nice. Here is the website:

Why not try Chicago? It will be within driving distance, and it also has tons to do. You can go on a city tour, a cruise on Lake Michigan, go to a museum, and go shopping. You could also go to a play. Jersey Boys will be playing in October, and there is also a Medieval Times nearby. You can find more activity ideas and lodging options here:
