I have been on many road trips. I grew up an Air Force Brat. My husband was in the Army. So we did our share of traveling on the road with a trailer behind us. The trip is what you make it. If well planned, you can have a good time of it. Don't over do on the driving. Pull over when the sun begins to set into a Motel, in our case it was an R.V. park. Have a nice dinner, swim in the pool, take in a movie if one is close by, hit the sack early, then back on the road early the next morning to beat the heavy traffic to get back onto the Interstate. Some times with my dad, he would pull into a camp grounds an do some fishing while mom cooked the side dishes in the trailer. Then we would cook the fish over the camp fire. That too was fun and relaxing at the same time. But my brother and I enjoyed the R.V. parks more. My husband and I stuck with the the R.V. parks too. There you meet people who are also traveling and you sort of join together sitting out side chatting about your road experience, etc. If you are planning on taking a road trip, here's wishing you luck and happy traveling :)

I've traveled all over the country, by bus, car, hitch-hiking, plane. No trains yet tho. I've been to 38 states in all and have been on the road for as long as 2 years straight.

If you get the chance to road trip, you had better not pass it up. It's hard to describe the sense of freedom you feel when you're just out there and don't know where you'll be the next week. But I wouldn't have traded that time for all the money in the world.

The last road trip kinda sucked. It was from GA to MI and the gas prices were so high that we ran out of money halfway back and had to beg for money at the on-ramps to get back.

I havn't been on a road trip before, but when i do it's gonna be the best road trip ever. The only thing is, what's the point of going on s road trip if you havn't got a reason to travel. I'm gonna need a real good reason to travel so far...But if you are going on a road trip, then take a resonable amount of money and make the most of it...

I'v been on a few road trips and the best tips I can give you are to pack many many cd's because as you cross states the radio stations change and it's hard to find tunes. Also dress comfortably... The most recent road trips I'v taken have both been 6plus hours, frim Ct to PA and from CT to Cape Cod ... make sure tou pack a cooler with beverages and some snacks for the car. Rest stops along the Interstates are not pretty. good luck

It can be kinda boring if you dont see anything.

I have beeen to Washington D.C on a feild trip we saw al the political stuff.

In Virgina we have saw alot of Christian concerts

In West Virginia we took and rode our 4 wheelers.

And in Myrtle Beach SC you can do just about anything.

I was a truck driver for almost 4 fours, and I can honestly say that the Northeast is the absolute worst place to go.

i drove to the beach last summer...about four hours, and it was alot of fun, hanging out with friends, listening to music, eating chips...but its guaranteed that you will have to pee and your legs will get cramped, make a stop now and then, check out the scenery
