Hi!
We're a family of six, with moderate luggage, traveling for a one month US road trip. We're planning to hire a rent a car, and need to choose between Toyota Sienna or Chevrolet Tahoe.

Any opinion on which one would be better?

The Toyota is more dependable.

The main difference between them that I can tell is you are looking at a choice of minivan vs. SUV. Both will comfortably seat 6, and will have a bit of room in the back for luggage. A minivan will get somewhat better gas mileage, so since you are spending a lot of time on the road, this will save you money. Most car rental agreements forbid off-roading, so the only reason to get an SUV would be if you might be driving in some snow or if you want to look more stylish.

By the way, in case you've never rented a car before, Sienna and Tahoe are most likely examples of the type of car you would get in each category. Don't assume that you WILL get a Toyota, you may get something else that is the same size.

Toyota Sienna is best for family road trip. The Toyota is one of the roomiest minivans you can buy. Heck, you could probably have a key party in the sienna and not bump into your spouse for hours. Forget cramped sports cars or even one of those rare sport wagons. For getting it on, there's nothing like a minivan's airplane hangar-like interior space to allow you to perform to the best of your abilities.

TOYOTA SEQUOIA! the clarification is, sure the tahoe has a one hundred,000 mile guarantee yet thats purely on the powertrain no longer bumper to bumper. once you're speaking bumper to bumper Toyota and GM have an identical 3year/36,000 mile guarantee. and of direction the areas for the tahoe are greater without problems avaiable by way of fact human beings choose them greater! Toyota has an stunning product which will final alot longer...you wont even could desire to rigidity approximately finding out to purchase areas for it. and that's definatly an off highway vehile, it has a strengthened metallic physique, double wishbone suspension...and on and on. and once you're procuring ask the tahoe broker approximately saftey and you will anticipate one hand the best points it has, ask the toyota broker and you'd be there awhile by way of fact there are greater than a number of of excellent points which you dont even understand are there!

I would go with the Sienna. It has about 10 inches more legroom in the 3rd row (at the expense of a few inches less in the front and middle) and more cargo space when all the seats are in use. It also gets better gas mileage.

The Toyota Sienna would be a softer, smoother ride. Might have better A/C {idk} But you must also consider how your family members would fit in each vehicle.
