If your driving to San Diego, Texas it will take about 23 hours of straight driving.

If you were talking about driving to San Diego, California it'll take about 34 to 35 hours.

Two really long days if you drive like I do ; fast and relentless

I start early , end late , drive at +10mph and stop for nothing other than gas en route

Food is in a cooler and pee goes in a coffee can

Three still long days if you drive like normal ppl do

__

The first thing you need is a full sized spare bc there is a lot of empty real estate out there that you can't cover on a space saver donut

Carry a tarp that you can attach to your car and stake out bc waiting for help in the shade is better than waiting for help in full sun

Coolers obviously

AAA membership obviously

Know that if go I-15 N > I -70 E > I -76 E> I-80 E >1-55 N there are very few gas stations on I-70 in UT so fill up in St George or Cedar City

If your trip is non-stop, about 34 hours to drive

42 hours by bus
