Hi everyone! My parents and I will be going to Nashville, Tennessee May 19-22. It will be my first time ever going there, and I am super excited because it has been my dream for the longest time to there. Oh, and by the way, I am 18.
My first question is this: What are some must do things? I am a huge country music fan, so I really want to go to the Grand Ole Opry, and I also want to go to the Bluebird Cafe since that was where Taylor Swift was discovered.
My second question is: What are the chances of Taylor Swift actually being in Nashville during the time that I will be down there? I looked at her website, and her second to last tour date is March 18...her last tour date is August 11. I am a huge fan of hers, and even if there is the slightest chance of meeting her, or even just catching a glimpse of her, I would die (well, not literally, but I would be super excited).
My third and final question is: What are some things that you would recommend doing, going to, or seeing?
Thank you all so much for your help and for taking time out of your day to answer my question!

just me

Chances of you actually seeing Taylor Swift would be pretty slim, especially in downtown Nashville. You might have a better chance of seeing her if you head out to Hendersonville. But remember she does spend a lot of her time all over, I'm pretty sure within the past year she bought a home in the LA area.

While in Nashville, you might like to visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, it's pretty good but focuses a little more on older country (which I'm not really into). But it does have a screen showing a ton of Taylor Swift's video blogs with home movies :)

Obviously the Grand Ole Opry and the Ryman auditorium are some 'must see' places (to be honest, I didn't visit them while we were there recently). Also, the Grand Ole Opry Hotel is something quite amazing to see!!! The hotel is HUGE and so beautiful to see! :) You can grab lunch or dinner while you're there.

Make sure that you make a reservation online for the Blue Bird Cafe, it is very popular and reservations are needed.

I don't remember ever hearing that someone saw Taylor Swift out on the streets in Nashville, so I doubt seriously that there is any chance of that. Other stars are regularly seen.

Be sure to visit the Ryman Auditorium, Hatch Show Prints, and the Country Music Hall of Fame. Look at www.visitmusiccity.com for other things to do and see, and check the Events Calendar for what will be happening that week. Opry Mills mall will be reopened by then too.

i'd say that even concept that is a friday....human beings will trick or treak then. yet i plan to be prepared for human beings to go back by potential of my domicile on saturday too. human beings will likely do it on both days, i'd imagine so besides. some human beings paintings overdue on fridays and cann't take their youthful ones then. so basically be prepared. yet i plan to take my youthful ones on friday the 31. each person might want to no longer trick or manage this weekend. Al least that would not make because that to me.
